Adam Lambert - If I Had You

There are a few music videos that I would love to be apart of. This..happens to be be one of them. I am jealous of every single person involved in the music video. From the forests animals that didn't know what was going on with all of the productions to the assistant that probably had to get Adam's espresso. Just imagine the crazy lights flashing on you as you're dancing with each other with crazy cool makeup and fog machines with wild costumes pretending you're at a wild forest rave party! Adam takes a risk with his dramatic makeup, hair, and spiked shoulder pad jacket...and I LIVE for it! By FAR THE BEST music video of 2010. Adam proves he does NOT care what anybody thinks about him and he's just doing him and having fun. I dig Adam L. Approved.

Rusted Root - Send Me On My Way

Do you remember this song from the movie "Matilda"?! It's so joyful and danceful. Remind yourself by listening!

Heart Knuckle ring

shopbop.com $96

This ring will knock a sucka's heart out(no pun intended)! The single thin gold line-turn-into-heart is so simple and elegant but a bit rebellious. Has the look of a double ring finger but is actually a single ring. Like it? Go to shopbop.com

Indian Summer

freepeople.com

Don't you just LOVE this top? The colors are so bright and fresh and remind me of summer. And the black sequined lace just add an extra touch of drama without going overboard. Everything compliments each other. How cute is the silver lining at the bottom and the gold and pink lining at the top? No need to buy anything to match with this carefree shirt. And tell your mom that it's suppose to look wrinkled, so make sure she doesn't accidentally iron the shirt! Free People offers two different shirts with two different styles and colors for $98. I know what I'm saving up next for.

I've been gone for a minute but i'm back...with the jumpoff

So, I haven't been writing for weeks on this blog. It's only because of the my frustration for trying to customize my blog to make it me and not the standard template that Blogger gives. I don't want to look like any other blog. I'm pretty sure I could of figured out a way to customize my blog weeks ago, but I've been pretty lazy. Guilty. However, I will try (I can't promise) to write more often and cool posting about cool things! So lets get back on track, shall we?

05. Alicia Keys Wait Til You See My Smile (Official Album Song)

You've probably heard it first from the commercial or heard it months ago when you first bought her CD. Either way, it should of put a smile on your face by now!! Lovely!!!

A Spectacular Weekend

My weekend was more than splendid! Friday, surprise birthday party then met up with a friend, AND then went to a house party for a bit. Saturday, I went to a baby shower in Queens and I got to chill with my cousin that I rarely see. We had a great time! Car talk: Genetically Modified Food, me being a picky eater, donkey and kangaroo meat being sold in fast food restaurants without peoples knowledge for years (this is why they now have to say "all white meat"). On the way to Queens, all I could think about was the food. Every time I go to a family event, I know I'm gonna eat well! They had everything I could possibly ask for (Chicken & Pasta)! We played Wii, looked over fashion magazines and came across an article (Elle 2006, Mandy Moore cover) "I want my small breast back" The article was witty and had humor that mad us laugh. "Having sex with my bigger breast was like fish flapping out of water". Makes me grateful for the petite ones I have! Sunday, I went to my towns festival with my brother. It was nice just to get out and hang out with my brother since he never likes to stay home or hang out with me. I came across a little booth that sold vintage clothing and accessories. I was looking here and there through the rack and I came across this BADDDD Black Blazer. It fits on me like a glove. It seems to be from the 80's which means; Shoulder Pads. But thats ok..they're in right?? After my brother and I chipped in to buy the jacket, I got some fried Oreos. DON'T say yuck if you haven't tried it! Its delish. Just imagine Oreos warm and gooey in a funnel cake batter. It's a delight surprise. And saw the cutttesst little mohawk white ducks!! Sooo that was my day..besides catching up with "Vampire Diaries". I loveeee that show!!! I think people are so much on Twilight that they don't understand how great "Vampire Diaries" is. It was like a motion page turner! So many surprises!!! I just want to spill the beans on what's going on!! Oh and I got some Rita's. Mango. <----Jealous much? Yesss!!

For Once a Change...

You know, it's a beautiful thing when the modeling/fashion world starts to accept the typical size 0 or 1 model and go for models who have a little meat on their bones. Aren't they trying to sell their clothes for the average woman? So why not start with placing plus size models in designers shows. One model who already started walking in a Chanel 2011 Cruise Collection show is Crystal Renn. Good for you, Crystal! Things are looking up for plus size models, ladies & gentlemen. Get used to it.

Gucci Ad

Look at those shboots(shoe-boot)!! They are killah! Fierce. The only place I feel you CAN wear them outside of runway is the same place the model is wearing them. And you better copy the exact pose unless you want to look cra-cra. She looks so uncomfortable..but those shoes are AMAZING. Those are a museum beauty. If you just happen to want them in your shoe closet, buy them at Gucci.com

Glee

If you have not seen this show or even heard about Glee, you must be living under some type of fossil. How do you not know about Glee? Look it up. The best comedy musical sing-a-long since Rent...Rent wasn't really a comedy was it? But anyways, my friend told me about it, and at first I was like, "ehh...it's ok" but then I saw it after the season was over and I couldn't stop singing the songs! It's like mad addicted! I'm so happy that it's not a movie but an actual series. It's like a never ending movie. I dig it. Watch the second season Tuesdays @ 9 on Fox.

The Gadsdens - January (Demo)

.

If you have not heard of this band, this is your time to hear them. This will be on constant repeat.

Trend Alert

So I've been seeing a lot of this hair trend happening: The Ombré Hair. It's basically a light to dark or dark to light gradient transition hairstyle. I love it A LOT!! Now, I'm not talking about your roots being one inch black and the rest blond..no, no. That just means you need a root touch-up. But, I was just complimenting my friends on their Ombré hair. I'm secretly jealous that they can pull it off without even realizing it. It's such a sun-kissed look! One blogger who pulls it off well is Tieka from Selective Potential. Go check it out!

Welcome!

Ciao readers!

I've been prolonging writing a blog forever! Now that I've started it, and mind you, it took me so long to choose a name for this blog (I'm so indecisive when it comes to choosing something that I really want!) , but I finally picked it: Under My Trench Coat...if you recognize the name, it's named after a nail polish. I believe OPI or Sephora by OPI I'm happy that I finally have the time to write this blog. I just finished my finals last week and summer vacation is here. Finally! I'm a junior next semester(Mass Comm.)! I can't believe it's been two years so far..blew by fast!

I have a lot planned for this summer: internship at TV station (stoked), visiting brother in ATL, maybe a road trip to Nevada, chilling with the homies, True Blood Sundays, Glee Tuesdays, I'll be in the City (New York City) a lot, volunteering for SummerStage (free concert in Central Park)..just a lot of things going on this summer, and hopefully I can find myself a job so I can earn some chedda (money).

I plan to be posting a lot this summer, so thanks for sticking with me mucho grande!
